Project Details

For this project, I acquired these models through the game itself, the textures came through a lot of hard work and with the help of some super people.

In this project, I started modeling in Autodesk Maya 3D software to make the original layout idea, putting the models in their places, the setting up of the scene & the texturing. I then exported the model and loaded it into Element 3D in After Effects.

Once everything was in place I then followed along to a Video Co-Pilot tutorial, where I matte painted the background scene and made a separate foreground image to place in front of the models and backplate.

I further added the clouds or fog using Trapcode Particular software in After Effects

Close Ups:

The close up shots are really to show how well the models and textures look with the lights. I wanted to show also the use of images to light the ground, stones and also to use Video Co-Pilots Saber plugin to make the flame shooting upwards from the model
